Recipe for Bizcocho de Anís – Anise Sponge Cake
Ingredients anise sponge cake
200 grams of sugar
375 grams of flour
250 millilitres of milk
200 millilitres of sunflower oil
6 soup spoons of anise
2 sachets of gaseosa (soda mix)
Preparation anise sponge cake
- Preheat the oven to 180º.
- Mix eggs and sugar in a bowl with a whisk. When it is well mixed, add slowly the milk, oil and finally anise and orange zest.
- Add flour and sachets of gaseosa. Mix everything together.
- Spread some butter in a mould and pour in the mix. Bake in the oven until the cake is set. You can check if it is ready with a toothpick (if the toothpick remains clean, the cake is ready).
